The Other Side of Love
The Other Side of Love

Well, the book is out, and internally there's this sigh of relief, but also a bit of excitement for the achievement of doing it. There's a sense of accomplishment and the comfort of knowing that this journey has come to a close. On the other end of things, there's this discomfort in knowing that the next stage, which is marketing and promoting the book will require much more sacrifice than writing it. Juxtaposing that with the thirst to write my heart is forever trending in the direction to push out new material not that I'm not completely satisfied and hopeful in the current one but in my heart that journey is done. The so much more than writing to stand behind a book. Who knew?

Now here begins a difficult phase. I can't live in the present for too long knowing that there's an expiration date for all things as I said my thirst and my passion is to write knowing that I must promote this current project, I must complete the next one and therein lies the crux of the matter. There's so much inside of me that I want to release it's like being stagnant, which only increases the hunger to write.

In the end, I have to wake up and realize that this project is only halfway complete. Yes the printed book is out, and the response has been good the eBook is still on its way and the audio-book well it's on the way as well. By this stage of the game, I had hoped to have all three versions done the spoken word has taken on a life of its own, and we've really only scratched the surface with it but are looking to take things into a new direction with it. At the time of this writing, I am traveling down to see family and be with them so I'll try and spend some time engrossed within the pages of my mind to expose them onto new unspoiled canvas.

The next blog entry I haven't completely decided on, but I think that it will be about a piece called Just Breathe. Just breathe has been something of a joy and a pain to work on. It was the second piece in the collection of the spoken word and probably one of the fascinating ones of the written word. Just Breathe was born out of a conversation about the art of yoga. The breath is the life force of a yoga pose. By now, you all know that my tainted mind takes most things into different orbits, so the fact that you are supposed to breathe into your pain took me in a whole new direction. Breathe into the hurt! Remember that!

Our breath takes us to different stratosphere’s. It is the repeated rhythmic patterns of our breath that precedes the orgasm to compound it. It is how we breathe that yields pain to passion. As we breathe, as we breathe, as we breathe!

Without our breath, what would life be?
