Love was breaking like an avalanche crashing over me as I knelt I could feel the waves of snow packing itself into every crack within my heart. She repeated “I can’t breathe” which gave life to a revolution of change. My knees were cursing from the ache of the pavement pushing through my skin as if it was water but her tears, oh those tears!
Where was love now as his cries bruised our souls? It was busy deceiving me that my heart would remain the same but how could it when it’s already been broken into pieces, please remind me is; is it because I’m changing?
Sometimes something can hit you so hard that it changes you; when you feel that urge tugging and pulling, let it change you – give in and let it change you. Stand together!
